The Final Battle – Catholic Marriage

At our recent northern Roadshow meetings, I made a presentation on the Relationships and Sexuality Education model favoured for introduction into Irish schools. This model is being promoted by the World Health Organisation who are working in collaboration with the United Nations and the International Planned Parenthood Federation. Catholics should take note of the fact that these organisations all aggressively promote abortion as a human right. They aggressively promote the immoral LGBT agenda, and they seek ways to impose this … Read More

Let’s Make Knock Catholic Again!

Knock, Knock, who’s there? Promoters of abortion, divorce and pseudo-marriage!What on Earth are Fr Richard Gibbons, the parish priest of the shrine of Our Lady at Knock, and his ordinary, Archbishop Michael Neary, up to? Why are these two complaisant clerics permitting promoters of abortion, divorce and “marriage” between “spouses” of the same sex to address the faithful assembled at – of all places – a sanctuary dedicated to the Blessed Mother? Bizarrely, the Archbishop appears to have looked the … Read More

One of the main centres for this festival will be Trim, in county Meath. Government Approved Child Abuse

On Tuesday 3rd April 2018, the then Minister for Education & Skills, Richard Bruton, announced that there would be a major review of Relationships and Sexuality Education in Irish schools. The Minister said “The RSE curriculum fulfils an important function. Every student has a right to access information about sexual health, relationships and sexuality, and this must be delivered in a factual manner in every school. This review will help to inform decisions regarding the content of the curriculum and … Read More

Vanishing Christianity, why it matters and how to fix it

The decline of Christianity. The British Social Attitudes Survey, just published by the National Centre for Social Research, shows that Christian belief has halved in just 35 years. Only a third of the population now admit to being Christians. In the next few years, Islam (currently 6% of the population) will outnumber Catholicism, which has fallen from 10% in 1983 to 7% in 2018. In 1983, two-thirds of the nation described themselves as Christian. Just ten years ago, only half did … Read More

Bernie Smyth – Precious – Life Northern Ireland

The current situation as regards abortion in Northern Ireland is very serious. On 18th July this year, the UK parliament voted to extend both abortion and ‘same-sex marriage’ legislation to Northern Ireland despite the fact that this a breach of the devolution settlement governing Northern Ireland. Once again we see countries who claim to support democracy, undermining democracy. We have seen this same totalitarian attitude down South where Leo Varadkar has consistently tried to place obstacles in the way of … Read More

When Aslan Fought Euthanasia

Bl. Clemens Von Galen (1878 – 1946)Born into a noble German family in Westphalia in 1878, Clemens Von Galen could have led a privileged life. However, after successful university studies, he felt called to the priesthood and was ordained. Working in parishes in Berlin, he was noted for his simple lifestyle, pastoral zeal, clear preaching and a generous love of the poor. He went on to become parish priest of St Lambert’s church in the beautiful city of Munster, in … Read More

Mother Angelica’s Trust in God

Mother Angelica: a woman of great faith and wisdom.According to the media, 2016 was awash with celebrity deaths, probably no more than usual. Celebrities die every year, possibly more died in other years than died in 2016, or maybe that year was out of the ordinary, I don’t know and have no desire to find out. One thing that frustrated me though is that throughout most of 2016, some of these celebrities were being paraded as heroes. I’ve no doubt … Read More

In Praise of Cardinal Burke

Cardinal Burke fearlessly declares the One, True Faith.Cardinal Raymond Burke has about him an air of gentle, quietly-spoken authority that commands the respect of all whom he meets. The Declaration in which he and several brother bishops have listed some of the commonest fashionable errors of doctrine stands in a long and honourable tradition of adherence to the truth when many in high places have wavered. Here is a summary of the Declaration: The Faith is immutable. The Declaration begins … Read More

Totalitarian Ireland

Divorce is Wrong. On May 24th, the Irish electorate were asked once again to amend our constitution. Before getting into the subject matter of what we were asked to vote on, I would like to reflect on what exactly our constitution is. Put very simply, the Irish Constitution, Bunreacht na hÉireann, is the only mechanism which gives the Irish electorate control over what our governing bodies can and cannot do. Our constitution sets the limits of government power and seeks to … Read More
